jkuering This damn thing sounds so satisfying, every sound clicks and cranks like auditory feedback for every pull of a lever on a massive machine. Completely worth the headaches trying to get into it. Favorite track: Nuane.

Deus Replicant Chiastic Slide is possibly one of the most underrated of the autechre releases. The sound of this record is so wintery, otherworldly, and industrial, yet there is signs of emotion sprinkled throughout like cichli and calbruc. Autechre always show that they can make some of the best music in electronic and this is a fine example of that. Favorite track: Tewe.

Family Feet This lured me in and the rest won me over. Favorite track: Cipater.

Obstacle of Affliction This is what I envision the soundtrack to an all robot porn movie (of course this will exist in the future) would be with each song occurring for a seperate scene. Challenging and alien yet still arousing in a weird way. So good! Favorite track: Cichli.

absolutely beautiful debut album by Squarepusher, managing to be both colourful and playful as well as gritty and mysterious. warm and glitchy pads, inventive melodies, crazy breakbeats and groovy bass sections are what this album are all about and there's something for everyone to enjoy here. this is an album i revisit very often and relisten to tracks many times throughout the day, and it's helped me get through the toughest times and bring some needed light to them.
