Squarepusher a révélé l'existence de Dostrotime grâce à un single qu'il fallait passer dans un oscilloscope, un choix lourd de sens car c'est l'album tout entier qui suit le mouvement d'une vague et les "Arkteon" servent de transitions. C'est d'abord un raz-de-marée : l'IDM est euphorique, il croise breakcore et trance ("Wendorlan") avec des sonorités rock ("Enbound"). Il nous pousse dans le fossé partir de "Holorform" et c'est le chaos qui règne. Dostrotime, c'est la chronique d'un lunatique !

A fantastic assembly of Burial's blanket of singles and EP's over 8 years, expertly arranged as cohesively as any single album. Yes, 2016's 'Untrue' is his calling card, but this is certainly a greater wingspan, a deeper breath and a place to spend many more long nights. The new essential.

absolutely beautiful debut album by Squarepusher, managing to be both colourful and playful as well as gritty and mysterious. warm and glitchy pads, inventive melodies, crazy breakbeats and groovy bass sections are what this album are all about and there's something for everyone to enjoy here. this is an album i revisit very often and relisten to tracks many times throughout the day, and it's helped me get through the toughest times and bring some needed light to them. SQUAREPUSHER MASSIVE!
